Authentication Setup and Virtual Users

add authentication to your setup

install a sasl implementation (look at dovecot)

first use your already added local users

then bind your sasl authentication to your existing LDAP. (optional)

try again sending an email via your second host to a user on the first host using authentication

use an email client (MUA) like thunderbird for sending emails

add an fantasy domain (e.g. supertollermistudent.de) to your DNS Setup and let its mx record point to your mail server

add that domain to your mail setup

now configure email addresses within this domain
-
define these virtual email addresses in
/etc/postfix/virtual
-
configure a virtual email address pointing to your local user
-
configure a virtual email address pointing to your own HdM mail account.

Read about postmap and set your local resolver (resolv.conf) to your own DNS
