Backup and recovery / restore

Take the hard way to test backup and restore:

  1. Set up a “replica” LDAP Server on your second host system.

  2. Export both databases (configuration and “real” data) from your production server using slapcat.

  3. Restore the exported data on your replica using slapadd.
